Distillerie Merlet & Fils’s roots in Cognac date back to 1850.The company is located in Cognac, France, and has been producing various liqueurs in alembic stills since 1970.

Golden amber in the glass, this Cognac has aromas of apricot jam and earthy notes of leather. The palate shows fruit tones including apricot and grapes, along with pepper and vanilla, while the finish is very mellow. The spirit is done in a contemporary style, and meant to honor the producer’s sons Pierre and Luc. A blend of eaux-de-vie aged between four and twelve years, it’s best sipped neat. NOSE: Apricot jam fruit with wafts of cigar tobacco, nubuck leather and rose petals

PALATE: Light, mellow, fruity dried apricot, grapey palate with leather, vanilla and the merest hint of cracked black pepper

FINISH: Extremely light, fruity, linseed oil finish.
