Irish Whiskey

Irish whiskey is normally distilled three times from corn, mashed barley, and unmashed barley in pot and colomn stills, and aged in wooden casks for at least three years. Usually Irish whiskeys are distilled from unpeated malt, although there are peated Irish whiskeys, such as Connemara. There are several types of Irish whiskeys: single malt, single grain, blended and pure pot still whiskey.
