Rye it is… But definitely Amrut Rye Indian Whisky has a less spicy more fruity nose compared to its cousins from New World. Made from European Rye and matured in New American Oak casks.
Nose: pineapple bread, Mango cake, stewed guava, papaya chutney. The balance between the tropical fruits and the rye’s breadiness.
Palate: Imparting tropical flavors, lavender and aniseeds with hint of medicinal flavors
Finish: Bready flavors and lotus seeds.
