Description

Auchentoshan distillery was founded in 1800, and it is located in the west of Scotland, not far from Glasgow. It is one of three operational distilleries in the Scottish Lowlands. The name Auchentoshan is translated from Gaelic as “the corner of the fields”.

Auchentoshan Three Wood is a very distinctive Lowland whisky, matured in 3 different casks: Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks, triple distilled like all the other Auchentoshan whiskys and bottled at 86 proof.

NOSE: Fruit, sherry, toffee.

PALATE: Sherried fruit, vanilla, chocolate.

FINISH: Long, wood, toffee, a hint of spice and green fruit.
