Description
Bank Note 5yr is a great blended scotch from the Morrison family (owners of A.D. Rattray), it is a blend of 40% malt and 60% grain whiskies (pretty damn high for a blended scotch!). This is probably one of the best value intro blends on the market, aged for a minimum of 5 years and bottled at 43% alc/vol. (huge plus)
NOSE: Delicate, cereal, fresh fruit, citrus.
PALATE: Medium, nougat, vanilla, lemon peel, milk chocolate, spice.
FINISH: Short, caramel, fresh baked goods, bitter orange.
