Description

Bunnahabhain distillery was founded in 1881, and is located on the north shore of Islay. The name Bunnahabhain can be translated from Gaelic as “the river mouth”. Islay whiskys are well known for their peaty, smoky character, but Bunnahabhain malts are usually less peaty and very well balanced.

Bunnahabhain 12yr is an introductory bottling from the distillery, it is un-chill filtered, natural color and bottled at 46.3 %alc/vol.

NOSE: Fresh, sweet, briny, malty.

PALATE: Soft, sherried, nutty, sultana, coastal air.

FINISH: Medium, mochaccino, herbal, balanced, salty.
