Description

Old Bushmills distillery was officially granted license to distill in 1608, but according to the company the reference to the distillery dates back as far as 1743. Never the less it is considered to be one of the oldest distilleries in the wold. It produces all of the whiskies under its brand, and consistently wins awards and high ratings from connoisseurs.

Bushmills 10yr is an introductory single malt from the distillery, winner of Best Irish Single Malt in 2007, 92.5 points from Jim Murray in 2013. Matured for 10 years in ex bourbon casks, bottled at 40% alc/vol.

NOSE: Delicate, malt, toasted wood, banana notes.

PALATE: Malt sweetness, vanilla, gentle oak, fresh fruit, chocolate.

FINISH: Medium to short, floral, wood tannins, oak.
