Description

Camus Cognac Ile de Re Cliffside Cellar Cognac is produced in limited quantities, Ile de Ré Cliffside Cellar enjoys a double aging on the island. Its first aging takes place in barrels with light tannins and the second is within the Fort de La Prée, a historic monument constructed in 1626 overlooking the ocean. Bathed in the spray of the Atlantic Ocean whose waves reach within meters of the cellar, the aging location of Ile de Ré Cliffside Cellar gives the Cognac an exceptionally round and decidedly oceanic character.

Equally enjoyable as an aperitif or post-meal drink, straight or with a few drops of mineral water. To enjoy the full range of aromas that this cognac has to offer, we recommend chilling it and then tasting it continuously as its temperature rises.

Camus Cognac Ile de Re Cliffside Cellar Cognac has a wonderful amber yellow appearance with hints of orange. The nose reveals complex spicy notes with hints of vanilla. On the palate the Cliffside Cellar is remarkably mellow, with touches of orange and dried grape. This sweetness is accented by the subtle saltiness of the iodine notes, for a deliciously original sensation.
