Description

Produced from the youngest Sangiovese grapes at Castello di Monsanto, the Fabrizio Bianchi Rosato is a testament to Tuscany’s winemaking prowess. The wine undergoes a brief maceration period, showcasing the meticulous vinification process.

Originating from the Toscana IGT appellation in Tuscany, Italy, this rosato is crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The winemaking begins with the handpicking of grapes at the optimal moment of the vintage. The must undergoes skin contact for approximately 10-12 hours before a gentle pressing, followed by vinification in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Afterward, the wine ages for 2-3 months in the bottle, allowing it to develop its nuanced character.

In terms of sensory experience, the Fabrizio Bianchi Rosato boasts a soft pale pink color, while the aroma captivates with hints of wild strawberries and nectarine. On the palate, the wine unfolds flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and flowers, underscored by a subtle minerality. With an alcohol content of 14%, this rosato is versatile and pairs exceptionally well with salty dishes, hard cheese, and cured meats. The Fabrizio Bianchi Rosato encapsulates the essence of Tuscan winemaking, blending tradition and innovation in a bottle that promises both immediate enjoyment and aging potential.
