Clos Reyssier Pouilly-Fuisse 2013
Color White gold with green tints. Bouquet Subtle and complex smell with fruity notes (citrus, apricot) and floral notes (violet). Taste Powerful and fleshy on the palate, it reveals notes of lime tree, exotic fruits, honey and presents nice long-lasting aromas.
In the XIX Century, M. Reyssie, who was the owner of a Clos of 14 hectares (vineyard surrounded with stone wall) turned his vineyards into Chardonnay. This clos has a few advantages: South facing slopes and a terroir of very deep clay (non-chalky soils). Today, the 1/2 Clos Reyssier » has become one of the most well-known climats of the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. Plot- based selection with vines which are over 40 years old on average.
