Compass Box is a small independent Scotch whisky producer, founded in 2000 by John Glaser. They source all the whiskies used in their blends.
Compass Box The Peat monster is a vatted malt whisky that contains peaty malts from the island of Islay, as well as some Speyside malts. The result is a deep and complex whisky that delivers on many levels. Bottled at 46% alc/vol., non chill filtered and natural color.
NOSE: Smoky, peat, briny and medicinal, with barley sweetness in the back.
PALATE: Rich, oak, peat, floral, grain sweetness, wood smoke.
FINISH: Long, floral, peat and oak lingering.
