Cooperstown Distillery employs the highest quality artisanal distilling practices. Using almost entirely New York State grains, we produce a full line of spirits. We are a farm distillery and member of The Cooperstown Beverage Trail. We work to “know our farmers” and we produce spirits made from grains grown by people we trust and respect. Our still was custom crafted by the Carl Family of Stuttgart, Germany. This “copper beauty” is the focal point at our Railroad Avenue location.
Here, you can enjoy the “grain to bottle” experience. You will witness the entire process, from the mash right through distillation. We then hand-bottle and hand-label our award-winning spirits.
This young spirit is a hand crafted blend of sourced Indiana Bourbon and our own small batch Bourbon, made with local corn, rye wheat, and oats. Named after the dangerous baseball pitch, “the Beanball,” thrown by frustrated pitchers to scare batters off the plate, Cooperstown Distillery Beanball Bourbon Whiskey is incredibly smooth with notes of caramel, butterscotch, and a sophisticated smoked toffee finish. 90 Proof.
