Dolin Vermouth de Chambery Blanc is a vermouth made with fine wines of the Chambery region. It has clear brilliant color and a complex nose with aromas of freshly-picked Alpine botanicals, followed by camphor and then citrus notes. A pleasant harmony of botanical notes develops on the palate in a silky texture. To complete the impression, the aromas of broom and elderflower in this white vermouth give way to notes of fresh almond and peach.
The sweet, pale ‘Blanc’ variety of vermouth was first created and made famous by Dolin in Chambéry long before Italian producers replicated the style as ‘Bianco’. Dolin blanc’s elegance and slight vanilla edge marry beautifully in the ‘new classic’ Blond Negroni. In other cocktails, Dolin Blanc pairs well with blanco tequila or other flavorful clear spirits.
