Domaine Treloar Three Peaks 2012

$16.99

Three Peaks is a french wine crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre that offers refreshing fruit notes and a medium body.

Description

Crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, lightly aged in older barriques for a subtle oak influence, this wine exhibits the distinct terroir of Aspres through refreshing fruit notes and a medium body. With noticeable hints of leather in the aroma, it grows more and more beautiful with age.

Located in Roussillon, France’s vibrant wine region, this small and esteemed vineyard, owned by Jonathan and Rachel Treloar, emerged from an unconventional journey prompted by witnessing the events of September 11, 2001, near the Twin Towers. Situated on a 10-hectare estate, they personally handle all vineyard and winery tasks, driven by a passion to create exceptional wines at an accessible price, despite limited quantities. Their labor of love produces top-ranking wines recognized by Jancis Robinson MW and La Revue du Vin de France.
