E.H. Taylor is another boutique bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery, which is famous for such bourbons as: Buffalo Trace, Van Winkle, Blanton’s, Elmer T. Lee, Rock Hill Farms, Sazerac, W.L. Weller, and several others.
This outstanding bottling packaged in a vintage label and canister, which are reminiscent of Taylor’s bottles from nearly one hundred years ago. E.H. Taylor Small Batch is a great everyday bourbon (if you can find it, that is), very well balanced, bottled at 50% alc/vol.
NOSE: Caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, maple syrup and grassy notes.
PALATE: Vanilla, burnt sugar, peanut butter, pepper, cinnamon.
FINISH: Medium, chocolate cake, spice, drying.
