Description

English classic is the first new single malt to be distilled in England in about hundred years. It is produced by the iconic St. George’s Distillery, established in 2008. All of their whiskey is batch made by hand with no computers, matured in fine casks, bottled on site using their own water at either 46% alc/vol, or cask strength without any additional color, and is non chill-filtered.

English Peated Cask Strength is a cask strength version of English Peated single malt, bottled at 60.9% alc/vol. Absolutely beautiful, a great peaty experience.

NOSE: Citrucy and smoky with notes of crème caramel, malt, spicy peat and a little toffee apple.

PALATE: Creamy, sweet and spicy with notes of oily peat smoke and custard. Some pannacotta, sultanas, and cloves develop.

FINISH: Subtle peat smoke smoulders away into the finish. Long and spicy.
