Franciacorta La Corte Grappa is a refined amber liqueur crafted from meticulously chosen Franciacorta grape marcs and enriched by extended oak aging.

Description

Franciacorta La Corte Grappa is a beautiful amber-colored liqueur. Its incredibly complex, soft bouquet is wonderfully rounded and full. The lengthy refinement in oak exalts the ethereal and noble aromas of this valuable Franciacorta La Corte Grappa, obtained by distilling the very best carefully-selected marcs of Franciacorta.

Founded in 1901 by Luigi Gozio in Gussago, Italy, Distillerie Franciacorta, now led by his descendants, began distilling pressed-grape skins and sediment with traditional methods in the picturesque region of Franciacorta. In 1930, Luigi’s sons Paolo and Giuseppe enhanced the distillation process using steam boilers and a sediment distiller for purer alcohol. To stand out, the founder changed the name from “Distillerie Gozo” to “Distillerie Franciacorta.” They ferment the grape marc naturally, double distill it, and either bottle it at 40 proof or age it in oak barrels at 60 proof.
