Description
Glencadam distillery was established in 1825 and is located in Brechin, Angus. Over the years the distillery has changed hands several times, and is currently owned by Angus Dundee, who also owns Tomintoul distillery. All of the Glencadam whiskies are bottled at 46% alc/vol., natural color and non chill filtered.
Glencadam 10yr is an introductory offering from the distillery, it has won many prestigious awards and received a score of 94.5 from Jim Murray in 2014.
NOSE: Light, aromatic, herbal, notes of hay, vanilla, light oak.
PALATE: Tart fruit, vanilla, spice, hay.
FINISH: Long, malty, fruity.
