GlenDronach is a Highland distillery and was founded in 1826 by James Allardesas. It was the second distillery to apply for a licence to legally produce whisky in Scotland. Over the years the ownership of the distillery changed multiple times, and it is currently owned by BenRiach Distillery Company.
GlenDronach Original 12yr is a heavily sherried single malt, and it is a fine example of good quality spirit and quality casks. It is bottled at 43% alc/vol., natural color and non chill-filtered.
NOSE: Rich, cereal, hazelnut, oak.
PALATE: Oily, dark fruit, chocolate, nuts, big sherry influence.
FINISH: Long, cereal, toffee, vanilla.
