Gush Etzion is located in the Judean region, situated south of Jerusalem, at one of the highest altitudes in Israel. This area has been recognized for thousands of years for wine growing and merited a special blessing in the bible that Jacob granted to his son, Judah. The climate, differences in day and night temperatures, chalky soil, the sloping vineyards, and altitude of over 900 meters above sea level, create ideal conditions for wine growing.
Gush Etzion Spring River Dry Red Blend is a full-bodied Bordelaise blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Aged in French barriques showing gently mouth-coating tannins and a subtle note of spicy cedarwood revealing currant, blackberries and earthy notes.
