Hana Hou Hou Shu Sparkling Sake
Created by the Marumoto brewery in 2001, this sparkling sake is bottle fermented. Made like Champagne, the first of its type in Japan and the highest quality sparkling sake imported into the USA. Hou Hou Shu is soft and creamy with a small bubble, similar to champagne and Belgian beer. The flavor in lively, expansive and balanced, resembling green apple, tart yogurt with sweet fruit undertones.
