Description

Henry McKenna, an immigrant from Ireland, came to America in 1837. McKenna settled in Kentucky where he set out to create a better bourbon using his family’s recipe. Today, Heaven Hill offers Henry McKenna Single Barrel which is aged for 10 years.

Henry McKenna Single Barrel satisfies the Bottled in Bond (BiB) requirements. The whiskey must be the product of one distillation season and one distiller at a single distillery in order to be labelled BiB,. It must also be aged in a federally bonded warehouse under U.S. government supervision for at least four years. In addition, the whiskey must be bottled at exactly 100 proof. The BiB label must clearly identify the distillery where it was distilled and where it was bottled, if different.

Traditional is how most describe Henry McKenna Single Barrel. It is the longest and only aged Bottled-in-Bond Single Barrel Bourbon available today, resting in the barrel through 40 Kentucky seasons. The label on each bottle of Henry McKenna Single Barrel contains handwritten authentication of the exact barrel number and the date it was barreled.
