Jefferson’s is a whiskey blending company, they buy whiskeys from different distilleries and then age them and blend them together to a certain taste profile. You can think of them as an independent bottler, like Gordon & MacPhail for example.
Jefferson’s Very Small Batch is an introductory bottling, aged for 8-12 years on average and bottled at 41% alc/vol.
NOSE: Corn sweetness, vanilla, pepper, oak.
PALATE: Full, oily, vanilla, burnt toffee, butterscotch, oak, old leather and spice.
FINISH: Medium, oak, vanilla.
