Louis Jadot Pommard Rugiens 2011

$89.99

Description

Often considered the most “masculine” Côte de Beaune red, Pommard is a firm, full-bodied wine that is nevertheless exceptionally round and generous, with a fruity depth of character and a bouquet suggestive of raspberries, leather and earth.

Pairs well with hare and other small game, beef braised in wine, or strong cheeses such as époisses, livarot and pont l’evêque. This wine can be enjoyed immediately or within 10 years of the vintage.

The House of Louis Jadot has been producing exceptional Burgundy wines since its founding in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot.
