Maison Sylvain Loichet Cote de Nuits-Villages 2007
This wine has a bright appearance, with notes of blackcurrant and pepper, classic aromas of the appellation. Nice entry to the palate with a promising structure. Slightly closed, but with no bitter notes. Very good lesser Burgundy, complex open nose, violets and damp earth, sleek dry mouthfeel, nice tannin.  Textbook red burgundy nose. Medium- body, medium & ripe tannins, medium acidity all form the edges of the red fruit palate. Good length.
