A genuine classic bourbon, Old Forester has been in production since the 1870s! This bourbon was founded by George Garvin Brown and is still owned by his family today. It was the first bourbon to be sold exclusively in sealed bottles to avoid anyone fiddling around with the tasty contents. Old Forester’s mash bill contains a higher portion of rye than most other bourbons, resulting in big, bold character.Bottled at 43% alc/vol.
NOSE: Orange, allspice and caramel alongside rich, vanilla.
PALATE: Cinnamon, cocoa and oak, hint of maple syrup.
FINISH: Long, with hints of fruit.
