Description

Payet Quebranta Pisco is categorized as a nonaromatic pisco. Quebranta is clean and rich, with a subtle array of flavors and aromas. It is the perfect choice for those seeking a full-bodied premium pisco.

This Pisco is a fine Brandy distilled from Quebranta grapes (Vitis Vinifera, a Muscat) brought to Peru by the Spaniards in the 16th Century. It is off-dry, ripe, and buttery with lots of cloves, nutmeg, and terroir flavors that lengthen nicely on the finish.

Grown and distilled in the fertile desert soils of the Ica valley, Peru, the Quebranta grapes are destemmed, pneumatically pressed, and fermented in low-temperature stainless steel tanks as a white wine. It is then distilled in an all-copper still.

Payet Quebranta Pisco jumps out of the glass as a warming-up appetizer by itself, on the rocks, for as a frozen shot with a twist of lemon.
