Description
Lytton Springs, found in Ridge Vineyards, is home to 100 plus-year-old zinfandel vines interplanted with petite sirah, carignane, a small amount of mataro (mourvèdre), and grenache. For more than three decades the field blend from this site has produced the quintessential example of Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel.
Surrounded by beautiful 115-year-old vines, the eco-sustainable Lytton Springs Winery stands as one of the most unique sites in all of Sonoma County’s wine country. With a pre-industrial approach to winemaking, techniques such as the usage of natural yeast help develop the wines to reach a complexity of its own.
