Description

Saracco Moscato d’Asti 2016 delights the senses with fragrant aromas of summer stone fruits such as apricot and peach, creating an explosive bouquet. The palate is refreshing, characterized by mouthwatering acidity, and the finish is exceptionally long, featuring the perfect touch of residual sugar.

Situated between the renowned wine towns of Alba and Santo Stefano Belbo in Piedmont, the village of Castiglione Tinella is home to Saracco. Winemaker Paolo Saracco, inspired by his great-grandfather Luigi Saracco, who started cultivating Moscato grapes in the early 1900s, fulfilled his desire to craft a wine under the family name. Growing up in the vineyards, Paolo, after enological studies, implemented new winemaking techniques and modern vineyard management. The Saracco family’s vineyards, benefiting from an ideal microclimate, feature limestone mixed with sandy veins, providing the perfect temperature and humidity balance for Moscato. With meticulous vineyard management and precise winemaking, Saracco has earned a reputation as the King of Moscato, consistently delivering excellent results.
