Terrazas de los Andes was named by Wine Spectator as ‚ÄùOne of the 20 worldwide wineries which year after year delivers consistent high quality wines.‚Äù The vineyards are in the foothills of the Andes, where each varietal is grown at the ideal altitude for optimal development. The pre-phylloxera vines are irrigated with snowmelt from the Andes. A thoroughbred with a wonderful pedigree, Cheval des Andes is a joing venture between Bordeaux’s Chateau Cheval Blanc and Aregntina’s Terrazas de los Andes. Director Pierre Lurton is also the director of Cheval Blanc and president of Chateau d’Yquem in France.
