Description
Balvenie distillery is located in the Speyside region, right next door to the Glenfiddich distillery, and has been producing excellent malts since 1893. Balvenie is one of the few distilleries that happen to have their own malt floors, and grow their own barley on the adjoining lands.
The Balvenie 14yr Caribbean Cask has been matured in traditional cask before being transferred into ex rum casks for the final period of maturation. Bottled at 43% alc/vol. Very well rounded and balanced dram.
NOSE: Toffee, tropical fruit.
PALATE: Creamy, vanilla, apple, mango, citrus.
FINISH: Long, vanilla, oak, raisins.
