The nose of this whisky embodies the essence of Speyside with light, sweet toffee, vanilla, and subtle hints of mint leaf and citrus peel. The palate offers a creamy texture with lively white pepper, oak-driven spiciness, and underlying notes of nutmeg and toasted vanilla, and the finish is characterized by spiciness accompanied by shortbread and fresh mint notes.
Tlàth, pronounced “Tlah,” is Gaelic for “gentle, mellow.” This description mirrors the term “the gentle dram‚” which is used on all editions of Tomintoul.
