Description

Vina Cobos Chanares Vineyard Malbec 2014

When Cobos gets its heavyweight Malbecs right, they’re some of the best in Argentina. But in a year like 2014, when the end of the vintage was cold and rain-plagued, many of the big wines seem stunted. With its fully oaked mint, smoke and spice aromas, this delivers nothing but power. Toasted flavors of blackberry, cassis and raisin mark the hard palate, finishing short and with some heat. Age this until 2020 for best results.
