Although Islands Scotland is not a part of a classic malt regions, but the whiskys coming from distilleries located on different islands around Scotland (Island of Islay is considered a separate region, and is therefore excluded) certainly have a distinctly different flavor profile, influenced by maritime climate and proximity to the sea.
