This wine has rich aromas of raspberry jam and brandy- macerated cherries. Its luxurious density and beautiful structure are hallmarks of this Russian River Pinot Noir. Round flavors and balanced tannins finish with nuances of vanilla and star anise. Classic Pinot Noir pairings like pan-seared duck breast with a cherry reduction will work very well with this wine; but many other meaty or smoky dishes, even savory mushroom-based sautés and braises, also will be nice pairings. Pinot Noir is one of the most versatile food wines available. Non-traditional matches like baked fish topped with herbs and a Provencal-inspired tomato and garlic sauce are possibilities.

This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown 100% organically in Burgundy. The grapes were harvested on 7th September, 2019, destemmed and then fermented for three weeks before being matured in oak barrels before bottling in December, 2019. No new oak was used in the process and the wine was not fined or filtered. It is deep, brick red in colour. The aroma shows black fruits and a hint of spice. On the palate, its acidity is well balanced by the savoury fruit and gentle tannins. It has significant length and excellent mouth feel – a most satisfactory wine to taste.

The colour is a vivid red cranberry with a medium density. Strawberry and woodland floor aromas are present, along with some spicy tertiary aromas. The subtle fruit and spice are complemented by toasty vanilla oak notes. On the palate, strawberries and cream explode. Fine tannins and a smooth medium body. Minerality, terroir, and length are all present on the palate.

The Corchaug Estate, Long Island’s largest Pinot Noir vineyard, is a modest 12 acres that are sustainably-farmed and hand-harvested. A light-bodied Pinot that balances dark cherry flavors with nuanced aromas of strawberry and spice, an earthy note, crisp acidity and a firm finish. Barrel aging in French oak contributes notes of vanilla and toast leading to a well structured, elegant finish

Long Island, New York. Pinot Noir. Sustainable. Nice weather, cool temperatures and a long season were the perfect mix for making excellent Pinot Noir. Silky medium body, concentrated flavor, with hints of strawberry, cherry, hibiscus, clove and vanilla. Great wine to pair with roasted mushrooms risotto and gruyere cheese.
